JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a housing supporter for Functional Support. To succeed and thrive in this role, you should have good competencies in both LSS and psychiatry. The position requires you to adapt to clients in different focus areas to meet their needs.

The housing support is a voluntary initiative aimed at individuals with mental, neuropsychiatric, or intellectual disabilities. The goal of the initiative is to increase independence and self-sufficiency. As a housing supporter, you will work from the person's home, and the support is designed to utilize and enhance their own abilities. The support may include:

• assistance in finding routines and motivation to manage the home
• support in planning and structuring everyday life
• assistance with official contacts
• support in attending activities, finding social contexts to break isolation

The work is largely solitary but also involves close collaboration with colleagues within housing support and the activity center Creative Center. There is also administrative work such as creating implementation plans and journal notes. The housing support is based in a location in Mölnlycke center. Currently, working hours are scheduled for weekdays during the day, but work may also be scheduled for evenings and weekends if necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

As a person, you have an open, curious, and positive attitude, with the client's needs as the starting point in your work. You take responsibility for your tasks and are keen to complete what you have started. The work places high demands on your ability to support individuals in their change process, to create trust and confidence with those you meet. You are communicative and can share information and ideas, adapting to the recipient, target group, and situation.

Competence Requirements

To be considered for this recruitment, you need to meet the following:

• You should have relevant education such as social pedagogue, social worker, or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent, such as YH education in pedagogy or psychiatry.
• You should have experience working with the target group, individuals with mental, neuropsychiatric, or intellectual disabilities.
• Experience with cases within NPF and LSS.
• Driver's license B
• You should have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

Meritorious

• Knowledge of methods such as motivational interviewing, low-arousal approach, ESL, and care and support coordination.
• Good knowledge of documenting through our future operational system Combine.
• We place great importance on approach and personal suitability.
